Photographers and Staff
Jay Shappley has owned and operated Holland Studio of Photography for over 35 years. A lot has changed in photography throughout those years and it is his drive for quality and customer satisfaction that has brought Holland to what it is today.
Jay has proven to be a leader in the school photography industry. He is a past president of the Memphis Professional Photography Guild. He is also active in civic, school and church activities.
Leigh Ann Williams has worked at Holland Studio for over 20 years. She is an account rep and the head of the photography department.
JoLaura was born and raised in Memphis. She has been a photographer at Holland Studio for 12 years and is also an accomplished wedding photographer.
During the summer months she especially likes taking senior portraits since the students are so excited about their upcoming senior year. JoLaura has been married to her husband, Brian, for six years.
In addition to their two cats, JoLaura loves taking her dogs, Hoosier and Chassis, to the dog park. She also enjoys riding bikes, traveling, and hanging out with her family and friends.
Kristin is a born-and-raised Memphian. She graduated from Germantown High School, and received her Bachelor’s degree in English from Christian Brothers University.
She has been has been a professional photographer since 2007. In her free time, she enjoys running and competed in her first half marathon in 2014.
Kyle Keohane is a Holland Studio account rep/photographer and website editor/manager born and raised in Memphis, TN. He has been shooting since about 2004, when he attended Houston High School.
Kyle also attended The University of Memphis and has been a photographer at Holland Studio since 2009. He is always eager to take on new challenges in photography.
Tiffany, the daughter of a retired active duty SGT Stephen C. Skelton of U.S. ARMY, served 8yrs herself in the ARMY RESERVES before leaving in 2010. She is new to Memphis, but has made the area her homestead. Tiffany is a Holland Account Representative/ Full-time Photographer. She is blessed with a life of long time friendships, a loving family and a miniature schnauzer named Emerald Jade. As an artist, Tiffany enjoys any and all creative outlets, although photography is her main thrill in life.
Taylor has been with Holland Studio for 15 years. He grew up in Germantown and received a business degree from Harding University. He is a second generation photographer, having learned many techniques from his father, Jay. Taylor has a warm and friendly personality which makes seniors feel at ease. He is married to his wife, Sarah and has a daughter named Evie, and a dog named Ollie.
Having worked at Holland Studio for 15 years, Sheila has handled a wide variety of responsibilities. As the Office Manager, Sheila handles not only senior orders, but also customer service and the accounting for the studio.
One of the things she loves about her job is being around the upcoming graduates and seeing their excitement while taking their photos. Sheila enjoys traveling, fishing, golfing and spending time with her cat, Sad.
Anne, assistant office manager, has worked in the photo industry for 13 years. The majority of her time is spent working in our senior portrait department assisting students in being photographed and placing orders.
She also manages about 15 of our school and sports clients during the remainder part of the year. Anne has been married for three years to her husband, TA. Anne is an avid animal lover and enjoys spending time with family and friends.
Bich has worked at Holland Studio since 1997. She is the assistant to the head of the school picture department. She is a hard worker who loves to help customers and is dedicated to making “every customer a happy customer”.
Bich is originally from Viet-Nam. She has 5 children and her hobbies include reading, cooking, traveling, and seeing Broadway plays. She volunteers at several theaters in Memphis.
Bob is retired from Shelby County Schools and has 15+ years working as junior high and high school yearbook advisor. Bob has extensive experience with InDesign, Photoshop, printing and various other design areas. Bob is married and has three children, and seven grandchildren.
