Owner

Jay Shappley has owned and operated Holland Studio of Photography for close to 35 years. A lot has changed in photography throughout those years and it is his drive for quality and customer satisfaction that has brought Holland to what it is today. Jay has proven to be a leader in the school photography industry. He is a past president of the Memphis Professional Photography Guild. He is also active in civic, school and church activities.

Ginny Gross

Office Manager

Ginny handles the day-to-day activities of customer service. She also has been with the studio since 1980 and with that experience she has a keen eye for quality control. Ginny leads a team of office employees that organize appointments and handle any situations that arise with customer satisfaction.

Rebecca  S. Tierce

Head of School Days Production

Becky has been with Holland Studio for 30 years. She began as an office worker and developed an interest in photography. That led to a career as a photographer for the next 22 years. She put down the camera to head up our school picture department. The time photographing within our public and private school systems has given her the invaluable experience Holland Studio needs to handle its growth in this area.

Matthew Gunnell

Head of Digital Technology

Matt came to us in the winter of 2005. Since then he has earned his degree in Graphic Arts Production and is the head of our digital department. His team works on anything from retouching images and constructing senior class composites to in-house technical support.

Daniel is one of our photographer/account reps. Daniel and our staff of photographers are the work force behind the studio. With technology and trends constantly changing, it's important that they are eager to take on the challenges. Daniel has been involved in photography for over 8 years and is  a strong member of our Image Capturing team.
